Photography Workshop Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment
A place in the workshop is secured once full payment is received. From the total workshop price, $150 is allocated as a non-refundable booking fee. This fee covers administration, planning, catering, and the holding of a limited-capacity place that cannot always be resold.

Cancellation by Attendee
If an attendee cancels their booking at any time, the $150 booking fee will be retained.
Any amount paid above the booking fee will be refunded only if cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to the workshop date.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are not eligible for any refund unless the place is filled by another attendee.

Medical or Emergency Circumstances
If an attendee is unable to attend due to serious illness, injury, or an unforeseen emergency, the $150 booking fee will still be retained.
At the host’s discretion, the remaining balance may be refunded, credited toward a future workshop, or transferred to another attendee, depending on timing and availability. Supporting documentation may be requested.

Full Refund Only Available Through Transfer of Booking
Bookings may be transferred in full to another person, including the $150 booking fee, provided the replacement attendee meets any workshop requirements.
The original attendee is solely responsible for organising the money transfer between themselves and the new attendee, and ensuring the replacement completes the booking. The host is not responsible for coordinating transfers between attendees.

The transfer must recover the full original workshop price, meaning the replacement attendee must pay the same total amount originally booked. Transfers do not incur additional fees once approved by the host.

Cancellation or Changes by Host
If the workshop is cancelled by the host for any reason, all payments including the booking fee will be refunded in full.

The host reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the workshop content, schedule, or location where necessary.

Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If the workshop cannot be delivered as advertised, appropriate remedies will be offered.

Acceptance of Terms
By booking and paying for the workshop, the attendee confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
